What we store
Your name, your Google email, where you are looking, what you are looking for, and what you are aiming for. If you upload a resume, the file and the text we pull out of it. Anything you tell us about your experience in the editor. Which postings you tailored a resume for or opened, and when you last visited. The link or site that first brought you here. How many tokens each model call used. If you pay, a Stripe customer id. Stripe keeps your card, we never see it.
What we do with it
Show you the feed, build and tailor your resume, and send you email. Resume text goes to Anthropic's API to parse and tailor it; it is not used to train their models. Email goes out through Resend. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with employers unless you send it yourself.
We send a welcome email, drop alerts if you are on Plus and have them on, and a confirmation when you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Turning alerts off in Settings stops them too.
Session recording
We use Rejourney to replay how the site gets used, so we can find what breaks. It records the pages you visit, your clicks and scrolling, the layout of the page, console errors, request timings, your browser and device, and your approximate location. If you are signed in, your account id is attached. What you type into forms is masked. So is the text on your resume, your settings, and every other page in the app except the job feed. Resume files and file names are left out. Your job searches and the postings you open are recorded.
Cookies
One session cookie to keep you signed in, and browser storage for your theme, your onboarding answers, the link or site that first brought you here, and a random Rejourney visitor id. No analytics cookies, no ad trackers.
Where it lives
Data is stored with Supabase in the United States. Postings in the feed come from public career pages and are not personal data.
Deleting it
Delete your account from Settings. The profile, resumes, uploads, notes, alerts and usage history are removed at once. Posting opens and model token counts stay as anonymous rows with nothing linking them to you. Email us if you want a copy of your data first.
